The logic behind Russian war against Ukraine

It’s been the same old tune… Yeah his on his last legs. Parkinson disease, cancer, he is dead for a few weeks. Nobody heard of him for months and so on…

Vladof PUTLER was supposed to suffer from cardiac arrest according to some russian based Telegram channel… This was quoted by several media outlets. But this claim is not worth sharing. As You may remember the same kind of boloneys were circulating online many times before.

Those kinds of messages spread all over the infosphere are just a click bite in the best case scenario. Most probable scenario is that it is just another Kremlin disinfo campaign. Remember - do not trust anything that comes from Russia. And this “cardiac arrest” tune comes from there. How can we even discuss this issue if we cannot be certain if the person we watch on different occasions is the Russian War Criminal acting as president of this state or his double. Or to be precise one of his doubles.

But there is a more important reason for which extensively analyzing Putin’s cardiac condition is pointless. It doesn't really matter if Vladolf PUTLER is alive or not. The nature of the Russian regime is not created and built on the personal characteristics of the man who ruled Russia for the last 23 years. The reason for which this particular person is in power is because he matches the characteristics of the system built by KGB, or to be precise by its successor which is FSB. The Russian power structure is built by FSB so it is the Federal Security Bureau that holds the power within the Russian Federation. If Putler dies FSB will have another one prepared to take over so that the long term strategy of the Russian criminal state will not be harmed… 

So no matter what circulates through the social media platforms, keep calm and fight Russia on each and every front Russia is trying to challenge the western civilization. 

And there are lots of fronts of this struggle. The Russian war in Ukraine is one of them. Daily reports from the battlefield refer to the same names we had time to get used to. Avdiivka is one of them, as the Russian and Ukrainian forces clash in that region for a long time.

And this will not change soon. No matter how high the death toll is going to be. No matter how big part of the Russian budget will be spent on military activities. British daily military intelligence brief points out that the 2024 Russian military budget is increased by almost 70% compared to 2023 budget: “Russian government spending is becoming increasingly focused on the costs of its war on Ukraine. The state’s proposed 2024 budget envisages an approximate 68% increase in planned defence spending compared to that allotted for 2023 – this puts defence spending for 2024 at around 6% of GDP. In contrast, education and healthcare spending will be frozen at the 2023 allocation, which amounts to a real term spending cut due to inflation. More spending will need to be allocated to fund payments and healthcare costs for the mounting numbers of wounded soldiers and the families of those killed in the conflict.”

But guess what… That will change nothing and that means nothing. As an old Russian joke goes… “Daddy, vodka prices are skyrocketing. You will have to drink less, says small Ivan to his drunk Russian dad… No Son, You will have to eat less answers drunk Daddy”.  The same goes with Military spending and war that Russia wages on Ukraine and will surely push it behind the Ukrainian borders sooner or later. 

Joe Biden addressed this case speaking about my home country Poland and neighbouring states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia: 

“If we don’t stop Putin’s appetite for power and control in Ukraine, he won’t limit himself just to Ukraine.  He’s — Putin has already threated to “remind” — quote, “remind” Poland that their western land was a gift from Russia. One of his top advisors, a former president of Russia, has called Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania Russia’s “Baltic provinces.”  These are all NATO Allies”

That is inevitable, because this is the whole nature and logic of the new cold war, or should I say new world war that is being waged by the states that are looking for an opportunity to challenge the Western domination or American domination on the global scene to be precise.  

Mitch McConnel, a US Senate minority leader just said that in his latest interview for Fox News: 

“If you go back to the fall of the Berlin Wall it was widely said that we went into holiday with history. We had a couple of conflicts related to terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq, but no big power competition. Fast forward to today we still have the terrorist challenge which the Israelis are trying to deal with and we have big power competition: China, Russia. So in many ways the world is more endangered today than it has been in my lifetime.”

McConnel used the phrase we haven’t heard for a long time. Axis of evil: 

“You have to respond to conditions that actually exist, that are a threat to the united States. The iranians are a threat to us as well, and so this is an emergency that we step up and deal with this axis of Evil - China, Russia, Iran because it’s an immediate threat to the United States, and so we’ll see what the supplemental looks like, we’re going to take a good hard look at it and i and most of my members believe we need something credible on the border as well. If we’re going to challenge accept the financial responsibility of helping our allies, we certainly want to do something to help ourselves, and so we’ll give this supplemental request serious look probably recommend some changes as well.”

Ukraine fighting Russian aggression, Israel facing Iranian challenge fighting proxies like Hamas or Hezbollah, but China is watching it from the distance… McConnel added this in his interview: 

“If the Russians arent defeated they’ll go into a NATO country next, and the notion that somehow our Asian allies are unconcerned about Ukraine is completely wrong. The Prime Minister of Japan said, if you want to send president Xi a message, beat the Russians in Ukraine. The south Koreans, the Japanese, Taiwanese are all interested in what’s happening over in Ukraine, because they know president Xi is watching that.“

All of this is pretty obvious at least from the perspective of the state that faced the Russian and German aggression for the last 200 years, and Poland is such a state. Three times in our recent history it was United States intervention that brought peace to the Old Continent. Two times in the hot first and second World War. The third one won by Ronald Reagan was the Cold War. What we are witnessing unfolding right now is the overtime of the Cold War. Two major players on the evil axis are the same players that fought the cold war 30 years ago against the US. The KGB ruled Russia back then as it rules Russia today. China was ruled by the same party that holds the power today - The Communist People’s Party. Iran is still the same Islamic republic that was formed in 1979.

All those criminals and mass murders are lurking, waiting and probing. Asking themselves one simple question. Is the United States weak enough or not yet… The moment the US shows its weakness will be the end of the world as we know it.
