From Berlin to Beijing: How Donald Tusk Endangers Polish Sovereignty
Donald Tusk’s betrayal of Poland’s national security shows once again why the Western liberal elite cannot be trusted to defend freedom.
The unfolding scandal surrounding Andrzej Szejna, Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister, paints a deeply troubling picture of the country’s political leadership under Donald Tusk. At the heart of this case lies a dangerous mix of personal incompetence, political corruption, and the deliberate undermining of NATO security standards — all overseen, facilitated, and quietly tolerated by the Tusk government.

According to multiple reports, Szejna is under investigation by Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) for serious security risks, including working with advisors linked to the Chinese government and promoting Beijing’s interests. Under NATO Directive AC/35-D/2000-REV8, any such ties should automatically disqualify an individual from receiving a Personnel Security Clearance (PSC). Yet, despite clear contraindications and ongoing investigations by the ABW, political pressure from Tusk and his Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, is reportedly being exerted to grant Szejna the clearance he absolutely should not obtain.
The gravity of this cannot be overstated. Allowing an individual with questionable loyalties and connections to hostile foreign powers access to sensitive NATO information not only endangers Polish national security but also threatens the collective security of the Alliance itself. It is a flagrant violation of Poland’s obligations to NATO, and yet the Tusk government appears willing to trample these standards for petty political convenience.
Stanisław Żaryn, Poland’s former Secretary of State and a trusted expert on security matters, has bluntly described how the head of the ABW is now under intense political pressure to overlook Szejna’s glaring disqualifications. Żaryn’s warning is clear: this is not a minor bureaucratic squabble — it is a crisis that strikes at the very heart of the rule of law and national security.
But this is merely the latest in a long line of Tusk-era abuses. Donald Tusk, once again sitting in the prime minister’s chair thanks to the backing of the Western liberal establishment and Germany’s political elites, is systematically dismantling what little institutional integrity remains in Poland. Under his rule, the moral collapse of the state apparatus is accelerating: security protocols are trampled, prosecutors and law enforcement agencies are weaponized against political opponents and independent media, and corruption is quietly tolerated — if not outright rewarded.
Szejna’s case is emblematic of this rot. Beyond the national security concerns, media reports reveal a man plagued by serious personal scandals, including alleged misuse of public funds ("kilometrówki") and struggles with alcohol abuse — issues that would have led to swift dismissal in any serious government. Instead, Szejna has been given a conveniently timed "vacation," with the possibility of staying out of the public eye until after critical elections and a planned government reshuffle.

This calculated move is designed not to resolve the underlying issues but to bury them. In typical Tusk fashion, the approach is to "manage" scandals through PR maneuvering rather than uphold any genuine standard of accountability. Meanwhile, independent media attempting to report on such matters are increasingly harassed, marginalized, and discredited by the state machinery.
It is important to remember who Donald Tusk really is. During his earlier premiership, Poland saw a marked softening towards totalitarian regimes - especially Russia (we’ve talked about the “Russian Reset” under Tusk a lot on this blog) but also China. Tusk’s ties to Moscow were a source of deep concern among genuine Polish patriots — culminating most tragically in the Smolensk disaster and the shameful nigh treacherous mishandling of its aftermath. His eagerness to curry favor with Russia (but also Germany) stands in stark contrast to the ideals of sovereignty, freedom, and strong national defense.
Now, a little over a year after Tusk’s return to power a replay of this disastrous strategy seems to be unfolding. Under the cover of Western liberal approval — from figures such as Germany’s political elites and the leading Eurocrats from the European Union — Tusk is positioning Poland once again for dangerous realignment. A swift return to closer ties with Russia (and perhaps China), facilitated by morally compromised figures like Andrzej Szejna, is not just possible — it is probable.
This must not be ignored by Poland’s allies within NATO, nor by the broader conservative movement in the United States and beyond. Poland’s sovereignty, security, and role as a bulwark against eastern authoritarianism are under direct threat. The American public, particularly under President Donald Trump’s leadership, has always understood the stakes of these battles better than the naïve or complicit liberal elites. It is vital that Poland’s friends and allies speak out. The Polish people deserve a government that defends their sovereignty, protects their national interests, and stands firmly with the free world — not a regime that betrays them for personal gain and foreign approval.
Andrzej Szejna must be removed from public office. The ongoing pressure on ABW must end immediately. But more broadly, it is Donald Tusk’s morally bankrupt government that must be held responsible for creating and fostering an environment where such scandals can occur in the first place. Poland, and the West, cannot afford another betrayal.
WOW. I didn't imagine how small and short Putin is, before I see him with Tusk. Putin is Liliputin midget piece of meat ready for the fodder on Ukrainian front. I think, Napoleon Bonaparte was taller than Liliputin! I heard that some Liliput-ins can impress women. Vlad, tell the truth onece in your life. Stormy Daniels in the court said when the question about King Donny The 1st having sex with him. She said, "...and you call this a sex?'
As far se Tusk and this Szejna there must be line be observed, and that line already exist, we all know it. Germany is the biggest and the longest time a Free Rider on NATO and American fundings. German are blood suckers of the NATO and EU. As far as Germany is concern they have to have either a Nazi or Communist ideas that lead them always to what we have see during WWI and WWII and pre Bismark times. I am comparing Germany lack of moral and ethical value at the same level as are those two; moral and ethical value of Tusk. I lived in East Berlin 78-80, and the Deutsche people were for my purpose very straight and dependable folk. I felt safe amid Stasis hunts for me.
I am not getting when Germany did the Nazi to Communist reset toilet. If you are German, please have your say here. There are people like me who like Germans as do.
Germany can't establish a brigade in Lithiania till end of 2027? You Germans suck NATO and EU and still have no money? I am sure it can get worst than it is, it will happen with new Chancelor will fell on his knees front on unzipped pants of Liliputin's pants.
