Polish President Backs $61B for Ukraine in Stand Against Russia
Polish president met speaker Johnson last month in DC and Donald Trump last week in New York.
The House of Representatives finally approved $61bn in new US military aid for Ukraine to help combat Russia's invasion. The bill took months to pass and significant lobbying, not only from Ukraine, but from Ukraine's allies as well. Speaker Mike Johnson should be commended for his efforts, although as experts argue, the bill is late and should've been bigger. Our man on site Joe Lindsley discusses the package, how it came about and what is the reception of this news in Ukraine. We also talk about yet another Black Sea Fleet ship - this time a very symbolic one - taking a pounding from the Ukrainians.
Johnson did this because Donald Trump could see the handwriting on the wall and told him to do it due to the persistent and high level of Democratic and US Military support for it. Opposition was a loser. And also Trump was report to say "we can use it as leverage against UA later". What a shit head.
Well, it’s a start I guess, God knows it’s taken long enough costing many more precious Ukrainian lives, and resulting in Russia taking more territory which now will cost even more Ukrainian lives, resources and scarce materiel to reclaim. Huh, as for the new scrapped Russian vessel, it was already a piece of junk…it was no use whatsoever in rescuing the Russian submariners trapped in the Kursk submarine in that embarrassing demonstration of Russian technological sophistication and prowess. Slava Ukraini.
