Russia only lies
Russia’s “limited” goals are a lie. Moscow’s ambitions threaten all of Europe, not just Ukraine.
Very often in the media, we hear that Russia is a master of deception. While it must be acknowledged that much of its statehood and power is built on lies, from the perspective of people living in Central Europe, Russia is the master of deception to the same extent as a person who is a habitual liar. Ever since power in Russia is held by the notorious war criminal Putin, it can be safely said that whenever anyone in the state apparatus opens their mouth, even if they tell the truth, it is probably still a lie.
This becomes especially obvious during ostentatious ministerial meetings or the reports shown on television “for the Tsar.” A recent example of this spectacle occurred at a Defense Ministry meeting, where Russia defined its parameters for victory in the invasion of Ukraine. Of course, it lied.
