As Ukrainian cities suffer horrific attacks, President Trump must decide: demand real cooperation from Putin or escalate military support to Ukraine—before it’s too late.

Fluctuations in global markets and President Donald Trump's tariff policies have dominated international media, once again overshadowing the events unfolding in Ukraine. While economic issues are undoubtedly important, it's curious how quickly the left-liberal media abandoned the Ukrainian issue when they couldn't use it to grill Trump. We've previously noted on our blog that the U.S. president appears to be losing patience with the notorious war criminal Putin and the Russian side, which, as expected, approached the ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine with bad faith. This is becoming increasingly evident, especially in the statements Trump made to the media during his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office. However, the current situation in Ukraine—indiscriminate bombings and missile-drone attacks on Ukrainian cities, along with the dramatic casualties these acts entail—demands, in our opinion, a far more decisive stance from the U.S. president. Putler must be made to understand that there is no tolerance for terrorist activities and crimes against civilians. Moreover, American troops are making rather strange moves in Jasionka—a key location for military support to Ukraine. This is not the strong signal from the U.S. that is needed right now.​
