At a moment when American media are dominated by the issue of an alleged information leak via the Signal messenger concerning American attacks on Iran-backed Houthis, completely overshadowing the Ukraine issue, in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Americans are signing two agreements with Ukraine and Russia designed to establish ceasefires on the Black Sea and halt attacks against the energy infrastructure of both countries. The media, driven by their insane hatred toward Donald Trump, naturally do not devote much attention to this, all things considered, groundbreaking agreement—and if they mention it at all, they immediately speculate that Trump will surely ease sanctions as a result... At the same time, Trump gives a rather typical, bombastic interview to Newsmax (as is his habit), which nonetheless contains some interesting aspects. It appears the U.S. President is signaling awareness that Putin might be trying to play him. Here at “Rock Rachon We Rollin,” we've always maintained that the hope held by parts of the American elite (a hope which, according to experts, Trump also shares) that diplomacy can pull Russia over to “our” side in the confrontation with China is pure fantasy—let's hope these signals from Trump represent the beginning of rejecting that illusion. Meanwhile, European leaders, who enjoy such fantastic press in American and Ukrainian mainstream media, are preparing for a meeting in Paris intended to demonstrate that they have any significance at all in the peace process (they have none).

Will Trump see through Putler's game, or will he believe him and be fooled? Image generated by AI
