BILD Unveils Germany's Plan: A Nod to Russia's Slice of Ukraine
Putin crying crocodile tears as Ukraine does not want to comply with negotiations plan
In a twist that reads like a chapter from a cold war spy novel, Germany's latest strategy on the Ukraine conflict, as revealed by BILD, is raising eyebrows and alarms. This plan isn’t just about diplomacy; it’s about drawing new lines on the map, lines that could change Europe's face.
The Core of the German Plan
“The German federal government has also set its primary goal to put Ukraine in a 'strategically good negotiation position' based on the current frontline.” Source: BILD
Simply put, Germany seems to be steering towards a plan that would see Ukraine negotiate from its current, weakened position, effectively solidifying Russia's territorial gains. This strategy, while packaged as a diplomatic effort, could end up stamping a seal of approval on Russia's slice of Ukraine.
Arms as Leverage, Not Liberation
“Neither Chancellor Olaf Scholz (65) nor US President Joe Biden (81) want to directly urge Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (45) to negotiate... Instead, both countries... have decided to persuade the government in Kyiv to negotiate with Putin through the quality and quantity of their arms deliveries.” Source: BILD
Here’s the catch: Germany, alongside the U.S., plans to supply Ukraine with enough arms to keep the status quo but not enough to take back lost territories. It’s like giving someone just enough water to stay thirsty. The idea? To subtly nudge Ukraine into a corner where negotiation seems the only way out.
Putin's Twist: The Victim Card
“Putin says war in Ukraine is a ‘tragedy’... Addressing the virtual G20 summit... Putin said that Russia had never refused to participate in peace talks with Ukraine...” Source: CNBC
Meanwhile, Putin, at the G20 Summit, played the victim card. He painted Russia as a mere onlooker in a conflict it ignited, conveniently sidestepping his role in the crisis. It’s a narrative flip that would make any novelist proud, but in real-world geopolitics, it’s a worrying sign of shirking responsibility.
Ukraine's Stance: Firm and Clear
So the Germans announced their plan. They claim that they work on it with the US administration. But there is only one problem… The Ukrainian people.
The problem is that the vast majority of UKR does not agree to this kind of talks. Back in late may this year a poll result was published… According to which almost 64% of citizens of Ukraine were against any direct negotiations with Russia” Source: ZN.UA:
Oh yes… and there is another problem. That Russia is not only after UKRAINE. According to recent report of German think tank German COuncil on Foreign Relations… Russia will start next war in Europe in less than 10 years:
The Ripple Effects: A European Concern
So it isn’t just about Ukraine. It’s about setting precedents. Letting Russia keep its gains might seem like a quick fix, but it’s a Band-Aid on a bullet wound. History shows us that appeasing aggressors often leads to more aggression. Today it’s Ukraine, but who’s next? Germans should know the answer as not only Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were a part of Evil Empire. Half of Germany was part of it as well…
Germany forgot that (about) half of the whole country was under the russian rule. Worse, they forgot how was it like to live with no human rights, under the rigid communist controlled state, and that russia took their goods as often as twice a month. Germany, pretty much like russia, does not want to be a normal country. We expected Germany will become the leader of Europe, the best example to follow. How disappointing.
I've never trusted the Germans. It's easy for them to do this super dumb appeasement deal with it's not their homes being "negotiated" away in Donbas like mine will be!
