Tusk Tightens Grip: Pegasus Committee Spurs Ziobro Arrest, CBA Leader Ousted
Donald Tusk’s ruling coalition drove a controversial arrest request through the Sejm, then accepted the CBA head’s resignation, sending shockwaves across Poland today.
The Rules, Deputies' Affairs and Immunities Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland supported the motion of the illegal Pegasus Committee and gave its consent to the arrest of MP and former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro. On January 31, Ziobro was brought in by the police for questioning before the Pegasus Committee, but its members fled from the politician and ended the session. We wrote about this case at the end of January because it took place literally during the broadcast of our own Michał Rachoń’s program "Jedziemy." At that time, the police of Donald Tusk’s regime attempted to illegally force their way into the headquarters of Telewizja Republika in order to detain the former Justice Minister in the conservative PiS government. The journalists and employees of Telewizja Republika blocked the police from entering the premises, as it was a clear violation of democratic standards. Today, the Rules, Deputies’ Affairs and Immunities Committee (in which the majority are MPs from Tusk’s “smiling coalition”) supported this scandalous motion.
Today, the Rules, Deputies’ Affairs and Immunities Committee considered the February 3, 2025, application of the illegal (according to the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal—we wrote about it in the previous post on this matter) Pegasus Committee for the Sejm to consent to the arrest of MP Zbigniew Ziobro in order to ensure his appearance at the meeting of the Sejm Investigative Committee. The majority of MPs voted “for.” In the committee with 18 members, 11 of them are representatives of Tusk’s coalition, so the result of the vote was basically a foregone conclusion (unless one of Tusk’s MPs was moved by conscience...).
In addition, the Rules Committee recommended that the Sejm lift the immunity of PiS MP Marcin Romanowski and consent to his arrest and detention. The former Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice, and since January 2024 Deputy Representative of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, is being persecuted by the Tusk coalition in the crooked case of spending money from the Justice Fund—we will write a separate post about it sometime.
Police tried to force their way into Telewizja Republika
On January 31, the Sejm’s investigative committee on Pegasus was to question the former Minister of Justice, Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro. Earlier, the Warsaw district court decided that the former minister was to be brought to the session by the police, who had until 10:30 a.m. to do so. The police did not find Ziobro at his home (which was no surprise to anyone, since Ziobro had previously announced that he would be in Brussels at that time); after 9 a.m., the former minister was at the headquarters of Telewizja Republika, where he gave a live interview to Michał Rachoń on the "Jedziemy" program. The police were not allowed into the station, and after the program the minister himself went out to the police and then went with them to the committee meeting, first telling the journalists gathered at the station entrance that he had traveled from Brussels overnight specifically to take part in the committee meeting and expose all its irregularities. However, the committee ran away from Zbigniew Ziobro and in a hurry accepted a motion to initiate the procedure of applying a disciplinary penalty of 30 days of arrest against him. In the live broadcast of the committee meeting, one can see the tension when the minister appears in the building, and afterwards the meeting is closed in an express manner. One committee member, MP Przemysław Wipler, later revealed in a post on X.com that “The Pegasus Committee, upon hearing that Zbigniew Ziobro was entering the Sejm building, filed a formal motion to end the discussion as quickly as possible and vote on an arrest request. They’re not after the truth but theaters and legal tricks. They didn’t want to hear him out.” He later added that “one of the MPs said, ‘Hurry, let’s wrap up; he’ll be here soon’—that’s the exact quote.”

She didn't want to help with the public grilling of conservative politicians - she got fired
It is clear that the commission’s sole purpose is to persecute political opponents, which is also confirmed by today’s resignation of the head of the CBA (Central Anticorruption Bureau—Polish: Centralne Biuro Antykorupcyjne—a division of the Polish government, reporting to the Prime Minister of Poland, responsible for prosecution of corruption in Poland).
A few hours ago, Donald Tusk accepted the resignation of the head of the CBA, Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak. The Prime Minister had previously announced the “acceptance of resignation,” but without providing any personal details, on X.com. Earlier, Tusk had demanded an explanation from the head of the CBA, Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak, in connection with her questioning by the Pegasus committee. During the hearing, Kwiatkowska-Gurdak repeatedly refused to answer questions from committee members, explaining that it concerned the secret of operational work and investigations conducted by the prosecutor’s office, arguing that she could not provide most of the information in an open procedure. In short, she did not give the commission enough fuel to grill the previous government and conservative politicians...
Master Rock!
Perhaps, our Donny is overdoing his job. There are already so much of political destruction, and stability if it is, is pretty much non excitant. It mirrors the Ruso-Ukrainian war where Russia is over killing Ukrainians to attain unmeasurable “gain” of something but, nothing of material worth equal to Russian catastrophic results out of the war. The Vlardorff’s and Donny’s ideologies are the same so we can expect the same results.
The exit of Mrs. Kwiatkowska - Gurdak, sends strongly signal about inner workings of few “gentlemen” in black trench coats with deep dark glasses, that were sent from Mockba. I think it, was more personal safety than anything else.
What we should face with reality and seriousness of the Pegasus. However, I do not believe that is Donny’s intention to address the Pegasus issues. The Pegasus, or rather a “red herring” is just one of the tokens of deceptions. Our Donny is not on high enough intellect to understand Pegasus type situations. I think, Donn’s behavior most likely is due to vary high pressure from his girlfriend Vlardorff Putina.
I would suggest, for the practicality and safety, that Mrs. Kwiatkowska-Gurdak be assign a detail for her protection. She just knows too much.
Since this is not about Pegasus and that, brings us back to Mockba influences.
